Angkor Wat

Au 'kissing' Buddha. Actually just a camera trick

Trees overgrown on the temple What a sight to behold. And there are so many of them

Beautiful Angkor Wat with it's image on the canal

Family in front of Angkor Wat and the 7 headed snake on the left . Library at the right

House at Tonle Sap while we were on the boat ride. The country is really poor. One's heart can easily go out to them. We have so much to be thankful for

Sunset scene taken at a fishing village at the stop of the boat ride. There was a 3 year old kid having a python for a pet (wound round her neck)

Bored waiting for the half-an-hour delayed flight back to KL on the last day

Daddy and his girlfriend in front of craft centre. Mummy! Where are you?

Au in front of a tut tut.

The plane we took to Siem Reap. Boys so happy to see the red colour with 2 faces on the plane!!!

23.12.2007 to 26.12.2007, the family took a tour with Orange Holiday to Cambodia.
Before the trip I was worried if the kids will be bored with ruins. but it turned out wonderful even with my bad diarrhoea. Sunday morning Dad drove Ad's car after waking up sleepy heads at 3.30 am. Parked at LCCT and off we went.

Airasia is not too bad but definitely low budget because we need to fight to sit together and paid for own food.though that wasn't too bad (one do not overeat)

Tour started immediately on landing to craft centre, Killing field and souvenir shopping at central market. Checked into a very good hotel Angkor Holidays Hotel. Wonderful clean room with cool aircond, triple beds.Went for sunset viewing where I lagged behind but made it!Daddy faithfully kept me company.

Cultural show on first night. Second night all except Ad voted for leg massage instead of another show.(In the end Ad skip it too and went for the massage too )

Second day at various part of Angkor Watt. Never knew there is so much to see. My stomach gave way and had to take the tut tut back to hotel with daddy. Fever and stomach upset.

Third day was much more relaxing for the legs.Went to silk factory, more shopping and a boat ride at Tonle Sap.

Lunches are normal 10 dishes meals but the dinners were fantastic buffets. Got to try all kinds of food Wide variety and plentiful.

Children had their first experience of foot massage (Ad vow never to go for that because he is too ticklish)
